Can I Participate in Multiple AZ Tax Credits?
Yes. You can participate in both AZ tax credit programs offered by SSFF and receive a separate tax credit for each donation.
Contributions received after April 18, 2023, can be claimed on your 2022 Arizona State tax return.
Contributions can be made by cash, check, or online. Recurring online payments are now an option as well. Please print and fill out the Tax Credit Form (Formulario del Credito Tributario) if you pay by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Scottsdale Unified School District and mailed directly to the school or the Education Center at 7575 E. Main Street, AZ 85251. (source: SUSD.org)
The maximum credit allowed is $400 for married filing joint filers and $200 for single, heads of household, and married filing separate filers (source: Arizona Dept. of Revenue)
PLEASE NOTE: The Arizona Tax Credit is donated to Saguaro High (CTDS 070248294) and NOT directly to SSFF. SUSD has placed restrictions on how SSFF can use funds. For more information on how funds can be spent, please contact:
This individual income tax credit is available for contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations that provide immediate basic needs to residents of Arizona who receive temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) benefits, are low-income residents of Arizona, or are individuals who have a chronic illness or physical disability. The tax credit is claimed on Form 321.
The maximum credit allowed is $800 for married filing joint filers and $400 for single, heads of household, and married filing separate filers. (source: Arizona Dept. of Revenue)
